New partnership gives Telekom business customers access to NavVis indoor digitization technology
NavVis, the global leader in indoor mapping, visualization, and navigation, announces a new partnership with Telekom Deutschland GmbH (“Telekom”). Telekom is now an official NavVis technology service provider, offering NavVis indoor digitization solutions to its business customers in Germany.
As a digital pioneer, Telekom provides customers with industry leading digital services, ranging from connectivity to cloud hosting. By becoming a NavVis partner, Telekom is further expanding its offering to give businesses access to the most cutting edge innovation in digital technology. The NavVis digital indoor platform is an end-to-end digitization solution that benefits every industry operating in and around buildings, including construction, facility management, healthcare, retail, exhibitions, transportation and more.
Telekom will now be able to provide indoor digitization services such as ultra-fast 3D scanning, browser based 3D building models, the world’s most advanced indoor navigation app and access to the entire range of NavVis digital indoor solutions. Telekom will also offer secure hosting services for the data through the Open Telekom Cloud as well as system integration and consulting services.
NavVis already has a longstanding relationship with Telekom. NavVis provides Telekom with indoor mapping and navigation at the telecommunication company’s offices in Bonn, Germany. Telekom, meanwhile, offers NavVis customers secure cloud-hosting services. The Telekom digital office can be previewed here.
NavVis will join the Telekom booth at CeBIT 2017, the digital business event that this year takes place from March 20-24th in Hannover, Germany. Felix Reinshagen, CEO of NavVis, said:
“We are very pleased to announce this partnership with Telekom. Digitization is ushering in an era of seismic change, and German businesses stand to benefit significantly by embracing it. 3D digital representations will revolutionize every building process, from construction to facility management and even emergency response procedures.
Having benefited from NavVis technology at their headquarters in Bonn, Telekom truly understands how revolutionary the NavVis platform is. We could not ask for a better endorsement of our technology than having one of the top ten telecommunication providers in the world add the NavVis platform to its product portfolio after experiencing it first-hand.”
Hagen Rickmann, Managing Director at Telekom Deutschland GmbH, said:
“The partnership with NavVis provides us with a valuable opportunity to offer an entirely new service – indoor digitization. By adding the NavVis digital indoor platform to the Telekom product portfolio we are able to offer our customers the most cutting edge technology available in this field. Telekom is able to provide a full service digital indoor package, including secure cloud hosting on the Telekom servers.”
