Chancellor Merkel and Minister President Söder visit TUM
On Friday 24th May, a prestigious pair of politicians visited the Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MSRM) for a hands-on demonstration of the NavVis Digital Twin platform.
German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel and Bavarian Minister President Dr. Markus Söder learned about the latest developments in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) on a guided tour of the school, with one-to-one demonstrations of a select group of high-tech projects at Technical University of Munich (TUM).
NavVis was front and center on the day, a reflection of its gold status as a successful TUM spin-off. Our company is proof of the strong synergies to be found between science-based start-ups in the Munich metropolitan area and research-driven businesses around the world.
Demonstrating the NavVis Digital Twin to Chancellor Merkel
NavVis CEO Felix Reinshagen gave a presentation of our indoor spatial intelligence technology platform to Chancellor Merkel and Minister President Söder, showcasing the seamless workflow between the NavVis M6 indoor mobile mapping system and NavVis IndoorViewer 3D visualization software.
These are the core technologies which empower the most demanding enterprises to seamlessly implement and operate a digital twin of their buildings and factory to radically improve efficiency in manufacturing operations.
Chancellor Merkel was exceptionally impressed by our successful company trajectory and how our digital factory enterprise solutions are proudly bringing German high-tech to every corner of the world.
Everyone here at NavVis would like to extend our thanks to the TUM for their continued support, and to the organization team which did such a brilliant job in coordinating the day.
