NavVis IVION now integrated with Autodesk Construction Cloud

New Partner Card integration of NavVis IVION with Autodesk Construction Cloud promises to deliver improvements to construction productivity, efficiency, and safety.

NavVis is pleased to announce the integration of select services with Autodesk Construction Cloud, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builder’s network and predictive insights for construction teams. The integration between NavVis IVION (previously known as NavVis IndoorViewer) and BIM 360 and Autodesk Build will elevate construction projects to a whole new level, where the availability of 360° panoramas and high-quality point clouds in a central construction management platform can contribute to a significant uptick in efficiency, productivity, and safety.

“Autodesk is renowned as the industry standard for construction management software, which is why we’re so thrilled about this integration with the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform,” said Ignacio Pérez Hallerbach, Global Head of Partners & Platform at NavVis.

"Our partners and customers need complete oversight on their construction projects, and this integration means NavVis will deliver more spatial information for better decision-making. Coupled with NavVis IVION, Autodesk Construction Cloud users can instantaneously access high-quality point clouds and panoramic images in line with their project milestones."

The great value of NavVis IVION is the way it brings a new dimension of spatial understanding to every scanning project, providing access to fully immersive 3D visualizations from any standard web browser. These realistic, interactive digital buildings lead to new and improved use cases for 3D scanning across industries like manufacturing, construction, surveying, and facility management.

Improving construction productivity, efficiency, and safety

With the new integration, AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) professionals using both solutions can reference the interactive, immersive scan data side-by-side with other critical construction project management information on one dashboard for greater oversight of key metrics like site performance, risks, efficiencies, and workflow progress – minus the nuisance of switching back and forth between applications.

With the NavVis Partner Card directly in the BIM 360 and Autodesk Build Project Home dashboards, users can quickly evaluate a 3D scanned job site from the comfort of their desk. Once activated, NavVis IVION provides an intuitive display of realistic 360° walkthroughs, point clouds, and floorplans. NavVis’s ease of use makes it easy to view, add, search, and find routes to building information.

Customers can simply add the NavVis Partner Card to their BIM 360 or Autodesk Build Project Home dashboard by following these steps.

“Effective remote work in construction requires access to virtual job site information,” said James Cook, head of integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions.

“Integrating Autodesk Construction Cloud’s widely-adopted construction management capabilities with the unique and immersive experience of NavVis IVION helps teams simply analyze their projects and make informed building decisions in a more timely manner so projects can keep moving productively and safely.”

Providing AEC professionals with all the benefits of NavVis IVION from within Autodesk Construction Cloud equates to a building experience where decisions can be made quickly and reliably, improving upon construction productivity, efficiency, and safety overall. Click here for more details.
