Event Marketing Manager based in Munich

NavVis is looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to join the Global Marketing team to develop, execute and analyze event strategy for NavVis’ indoor spatial intelligence enterprise solutions. You will be closely working with our Global Head of Marketing and focus on building our brand and grow our business by creating a global event strategy and leading the programming of 30+ annual industry trade shows and events.

This opportunity requires someone with excellent organization and planning skills who can work autonomously with minimal supervision but can also work effectively with others collaborating within a team environment. You will work on:

  • Drive event strategy. Lead the strategic planning of the annual and quarterly events calendar and budget.Develop strategy and author briefs for events globally - ensuring consistent and creative interpretations of the brand offline. Events may address several key audiences for NavVis including mapping partners, media influencers, recruiting events, enterprise customers and developers
  • Own Event Measurement. Determine ideal KPIs, share performance and optimize each event
  • Content and distribution. Work closely with the public relations, editorial and design team to create content for events, including executive slides, multi-media and strategies for amplifying the event content beyond attendees
  • Experience leading and executing event participation/sponsorship contracts and then fulfilling the deliverables, including booth selection, lead retrieval, promotional assets, etc
  • Work with the marketing demand generation  to plan and execute the pre, during, and post-event nurture and engagement programs
  • Handle individual event budgets, with focus on delivering high quality leads and generating pipeline, while maximizing the return on investment of each event
  • Work with Design Marketing to develop new collateral, branded giveaways, and booth materials
  • Work with product and product marketing on all launches to ensure consistency in messaging across all trade show materials
  • Lead the planning and organizing of NavVis Meetups at our fantastic office, creating and managing Eventbrite pages, coordinating with marketing to email invites and event communications, develop budgets and track event costs

You have:

  • 2+ years of work experience in event marketing 
  • Demonstrated experience producing various-sized events from 50 to 1,000+ attendees
  • Managed the multi-channel event experience to boost event engagement and return on investment, including email, direct mail, web, and social marketing programs
  • Experience managing large scale events (ex customer conferences), including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of the tradeshow industry and ‘must-attend’ digital marketing events, knowledge of B2B industry-specific in the enterprise SaaS space is a plus
  • Remarkable listening skills as well as fantastic presentation & communication abilities (spoken and written)

  • Team player with outstanding project management and interpersonal skills 
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Great in translating company's vision into an executable action plan
  • Process oriented with strong attention to details
