Software Engineer C++ (f/m) based in Munich

You will work on:

  • The NavVis software stack for deep-learning-powered visual indoor positioning and indoor navigation
  • Our processing tools for large-scale 3D indoor mapping data
  • The NavVis Indoor Location Server for indoor positioning
  • The cross-platform code base of our mobile SDKs

You have:

  • Extensive experience in developing with C++
  • Worked with the STL and C++11 or newer
  • At least three years of work experience

You are:

  • Passionate about clean code and elegant software design
  • Interested in working with multiple platforms and software stacks
  • Keen to find efficient algorithms to solve challenging problems
  • Eager to follow and learn about latest technology trends
  • Collaborative, creative, and communicative
  • Fluent in English (our office language)

We will be thrilled if you have:

  • Experience with development tools such as Git, CMake, GDB, Clang-Tidy, or Valgrind
  • Experience in using Linux and the command line
  • Played around with other languages such as Java, Python, Swift, Kotlin, Go, or Rust
  • Worked with CI/CD systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or Bamboo
  • Experience in test automation (desktop or mobile)
  • Developed client-server applications
  • Participated in the development of large software systems
  • Built, deployed, and maintained your own apps (any OS)
  • Contributed to an open-source project
  • Experience with OpenGL, Vulkan, or Metal
  • Developed software using agile principles
