NavVis technology was used by Bayer AG, the multinational chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences company, to give virtual access to the recently updated Baykomm Communications Center.
The BayKomm Center in Leverkusen, Germany, is a multifunctional meeting place, forum for discussion and multimedia exhibition center. Since its opening in 1991, over 750,000 visitors have had the opportunity to explore the space. With its recent digital re-configuration, Baykomm is now being made available to an even wider audience of inquisitive visitors.
The 1,342-square meter center allows visitors to try out interactive, digital stations where they can learn all about Bayer, discover fun facts about the scientific world, and get involved in the creative development process in the “Collaboration Studio”. NavVis Solution Partner CNX designed the virtual communications center after teaming up with Mapping Partner n-Kubus. The digital experience provides an audio guide and allows users to navigate between a number of educational stations, where they can click on points of interest to read and explore videos about a variety of topics.
