  • Construction workers routinely operate in demanding conditions, including confined spaces, elevated work sites, subterranean environments, and proximity to falling materials. They frequently engage in manual load handling, handle hazardous substances, and contend with the inherent risks of live electrical cables. Taking measures to manage these conditions as safely as possible becomes imperative.

Sustainability Champions

Toyota Motor Europe

Toyota Motor Europe oversees the wholesale sales and marketing of Toyota, GR and Lexus vehicles, parts and accessories, as well as Toyota’s European manufacturing and engineering operations.

NavVis supported the creation of virtual replicas for Toyota Motor Europe manufacturing facilities, effectively enhancing production processes and minimizing their CO2 footprint.

The Japanese multinational scanned its facilities with NavVis VLX, opening a “digital door” to a wide range of possibilities.

With NavVis IVION, the Production Engineering crew managed to:

  • Reduce factory visits, thus reducing their CO2 footprint; this accomplishment aligns with their commitment to achieving carbon neutrality of their operations by 2040
  • Make quick decisions based on the latest working environment, processes, equipment & line layouts
  • Build up the process information for their assembly lines, quickly sharing POIs (Points Of Interest) with users across Europe and other regions; this exponentially increases the opportunities for best practice sharing

“Using the twin technology prior to on-site visits to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey (TMMT), we could optimise preparations, reduce factory visits, thus reducing our CO2 footprint, and supporting our commitment to carbon neutrality of our operations by 2040.”
